ScreenApp is an AI tool designed to watch videos on your behalf, delivering instant insights.
The primary challenge was to assist the team in reducing churn rates, increasing activation rates, and streamlining the design-to-development process.
4th September, 2024: We've been able to increase upsells by +203% and overall revenue by 30% within the first month of launching the updates.
To achieve the outcomes and objectives of reducing churn and increasing activation rates, we kick-started with a face-to-face discovery workshop. The goal was to pinpoint the key bottlenecks within ScreenApp's product and to download all the insights from the founder himself.
Our research process began by posing three critical questions to better understand user interaction with the platform:
The objective was to collect qualitative insights, so we could understand how real users were experiencing the app.
Once the insights were in, we ran a lean UX audit to evaluate the current experience and how well it’s serving users.
Once we pinpointed the inefficiencies, our team gained the clarity and confidence needed to tackle the solutions effectively.
One of the objectives of this project was to help improve the design to developer handover process. In doing so, we introduced our custom Figma UI Kit and Design System called Shipfaster UI to streamline the design process and enhance ScreenApp's internal processes.
Once the system was setu-up, our efforts were centered on revamping the entire app with foundational design principles, integrating strategic 'growth hacks' where appropriate. Additionally, we supplied all responsive views to ensure that developers had every resource necessary for seamless implementation.
On Tuesday, 20th of August the ScreenApp team has successfully shipped majority of the updates to production.
